Designed to be a lightweight leaf shredder and mulching unit for the home gardener, the Flowtron has a 5 amp motor which is perfect for shredding small amounts leaves and grasses. This type of shredder will not handle sticks and small branches.
The Flowtron has different settings that allow you to produce smaller, finer or larger and more coarse shreddings depending on what you want to use it for afterwards. Smaller shreddings are perfect for putting down as a mulch layer on your plants and beds where as the larger setting will allow you to make a more decorative amount of chippings.

The unit is also designed to either work at a 45 degree angle or be placed on top of a trash can or waste bin to allow the output to be placed into a bag for future use. A bag can be attached to the bottom of the unit by using the supplied bungee cord.
The Flowtron Electric Leaf shredder has a small 8hp motor that powers the double cutting lines – both of which can be removed for easy cleaning or replacement in the future. The cutting lines are made from normal strimmer string or wire and can be replaced very easily and with no fuss.
